Brian Ahearn is the Chief Influence Officer at Influence PEOPLE, LLC. A dynamic international keynote speaker, trainer, coach and consultant, he specializes in applying the science of influence and persuasion in everyday situations.
Brian’s business experience includes more than 30 years in the insurance industry, having held positions in underwriting, sales and corporate training. During his career Brian coached regional vice presidents, sales managers and field sales reps. He also worked extensively with claim reps and independent insurance agents.

Brian is a prolific writer. His first book, Influence PEOPLE: Powerful Everyday Opportunities to Persuade that are Lasting and Ethical, was named one of the Top 100 Influence Books of All Time by BookAuthority. His second book, Persuasive Selling for Relationship Driven Insurance Agents, was an Amazon New Release Best Seller. His most recent book, The Influencer: Secrets to Success and Happiness, is a business parable. Brian was named one of the Top 100 Influencers of 2016 by the Science of Digital Marketing. His LinkedIn courses on persuasive selling and coaching have been viewed by more than 400,000 people.
Biggest Influence
After my personal faith, my biggest life influence came from reading Steven Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Immediately upon finishing the book, I wrote a personal mission statement that I’ve reviewed almost daily for more than 25 years. It’s influenced my life choices regarding my faith, family, personal well-being, and career. I know I’m a better husband, father, friend, and coworker as a result of that investment.
